When introducing a product I am in the habit of creating a comprehensive Launch Plan that describes the salient product functionality and features (lots of folks will refer the Plan, some of whom don't know much about the product), and details the different elements of the launch: media relations, advertising, collateral, budget and so on.
This plan for launching the Netergy hosted iPBX is a good example.
